Would you consider doing a tutorial for just one of your lovely flower designs? Wouldn’t want you to give away all your secrets, of course, but these are so great, and I’d love to try my hand!
Hi Cattie,
I’ve definitely thought about it but don’t know if I could – I make my flowers with so many little tips and tricks and skills I’ve picked up over the years. I started with origami flowers and slowly developed different ways of working with paper according to what I had on hand. There are lots of really good online tutorials for paper flowers (one that comes to mind is Coffee Filter Roses, featured on Martha Stewart) which you could start with, and then experiment with paper and materials. Good Luck!
These are so beautiful! I could def see my apt decorated with this type of lovely work in the spring! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

These are really spectacular.
what beautifull art!
What an adorable creation! The roses are beautiful!
I found your site via Stumble, talked about it on my FB page, and tweeted it.
I love this recycled maps art. It is mind boggling to think of all the things we toss, and all the beautiful ways others are able to use what many consider old junk.
Nothing is junk. That’s the rule. Creativity is so much fun, isn’t it?
Alright, now I know I am a guy and all, but dang, those cream roses are so beautiful and maybe one of the most creative uses for recycling that I have ever seen. I just can’t get over how the bunch looks so classic and refined. Nice work and great post too.
Awesome 🙂
